Disaster Response Network
A pro-bono service of the American Psychological Association and its members
APA's Disaster Response Network (DRN) is a national network of psychologists with training in disaster response who offer volunteer assistance to relief workers, victims, and victim’s families after manmade or natural disasters. APA partners with the American Red Cross, a recognized leader in disaster response, and state psychological associations to implement this program. State, provincial and territorial associations also work with governmental offices of emergency services, local fire and police departments, and other relief organizations.
